An overview with pictures
The KelTec P3AT are popular pistols here
are some comparrison pictures of them, an older
one in all black and a new (2006) model in
OD green. Major differences in the frame seem
to be forward of the trigger guard. The rest
of the cosmetic differences seem to be on the
slide and in the sights.
There are some
obvious differences over time. Mostly in the
shape of the slide
The shape of the
slide and barrel have changed as well as the
sights
The older style
KelTec sights wre dot above dot with white
dots, while the newer style are a nothced rear
with small blade front and no white paint
The newer (2006
model) weighs 7.8 ounces epty with no magazine
while the older style weighs just 7.2 ounces
An unloaded KelTec
P3AT magazine weighs just 1 ounce while a loaded
P3AT magazine weighs 3 ounces
