Modified
Glock 21 by Southwest Shooting Authority An overview with pictures
We had a chance to photograph this highly
modified Glock 21. This started out as a standard
second generation Glock 21 (no rail, no finger
grooves). External
modifications to this G21 include snake style
stippling and custom snake paint job on the
frame. Painted slide, smoothed trigger guard,
extended magazine release, extended beaver
tail, scalloped mag well and new night sights.
The horizontal pattern of stippling on the
front of the grip is designed to look like
a snake belly. It's a clever idea and well
executed

The stippling on the
grip works with the paint job
to create a snake look
Reshaped mag well offers
an easy way to remove a stuck magazine
Trigger guard is reshaped
and smoothed down

The extended beaver tail
looks like it was always there

Glock 21 (with finger grooves and accessory
rail)

The half moon shaped
mag release requires a tool and transforms
the magazine release into a very easy
to operate button
These modifications did
not effect the ability for this Glock
21 to fit in it's holster. Wear on
the paint job is negligible after heavy
use for a few weeks
